Inner Jewel™ Workshops with SangKala Jewelry – a series of self-care jewelry-making workshops focusing on different life themes, paired with various techniques of jewelry-making.
During this upcoming workshop, we’ll learn how to make what the author calls “MEMORY PENDANTS.” Here, we will transform photos and very small objects that hold special memory for you, into pendants. You can wear it, or gift it to the young ones in your life. You can help them remember part of their family history.
We will also explore the stories behind your pendant. Who are the persons in the photos? What are the small objects? Why are they important for you?
IMPORTANT:
If you want to use your photos, please make sure you make a reproduction of your old photos before coming to the workshop. We will work with the reproduced photos, not the original ones. Some tips:
1) Make and bring 2-4 reproductions of the same photo, for security. During the workshop, you will need to cut your photo to fit the size and shape of the pendant you choose.
2) Size: depending on which bezel frame you will choose, please make sure that the photo or part of the photo you choose will fit into either one of the following oval bezel sizes: 1×2 cm, 2×3, 3×4 cm, 4×5 cm, or square: 2,5 x 2,5 cm.
