PO ALYVMEDŽIU #2. Informacinis-kultūrinis renginys apie Palestiną

Izraeliui ir toliau vykdant genocidą Gazoje, kaip niekad svarbu ir toliau kalbėti apie Palestiną ir kovoti su Lietuvoje dar itin gaju, melagingu sionistiniu naratyvu. Todėl nuoširdžiai jus kviečiame į antrąjį informacinį-kultūrinį renginį apie Palestiną „Po alyvmedžiu“ (pirmasis, kaip pamenat, vyko spalį).

Alyvmedis yra Palestinos ir jos žmonių ryšio su savo žeme simbolis. Todėl ir vėl kviečiame jus sekmadienio popietę praleisti, kad ir metaforiškai, po juo – pasisemti tvirtybės ir sustiprinti tą vidinį žinojimą, jog net ir didžiulės neteisybės akivaizdoje žmogus žmogui turi būti žmogus.

– pranešėjai (sąrašas derinamas)

 DĖMESIO! BŪTINA IŠANKSTINĖ REGISTRACIJA 
Registracija bus pradedama trečiadienį 21 val.

Organizatoriai pasilieka teisę į renginį neįleisti iš anksto į jį neužsiregistravusiųjų, taip pat tų, kurie trikdo visuomenės ramybę, provokuoja, įžeidinėja, baugina ir kitaip kabinėjasi prie žmonių.

Pastebėjus tokius asmenis šalia renginio vietos ar netoliese, apie tai nedelsiant bus pranešta policijai.

Renginyje nelaukiami rasistai, antisemitai, smurtautojai, provokatoriai ir panašūs.

UNDER THE OLIVE TREE vol. 2

Informational-cultural event

As Israel continues to commit genocide in Gaza, it is more important than ever to continue to talk the truth about Palestine and to counter the deceptive Zionist narrative that is so prominent in Lithuania. Therefore we invite you to the second informational-cultural event dedicated to Palestine and titled Under the Olive Tree, vol. 2 (vol. 1 was back in October).

The olive tree is Palestine’s symbol, and it is also a symbol of the deep relationship that the Palestinian people have with their land. Honouring that, we invite you to spend this coming Sunday afternoon under an olive tree – albeit only metaphorically, for Lithuania’s climate is not really good for olive trees.

Let us be inspired by the olive tree’s steadfastness – sumoud in Arabic – and let us be reminded that even in the face of the worst injustices, a human being must remain human.

 THE EVENT IS BILINGUAL – SOME PRESENTATIONS WILL BE IN ENGLISH, SOME – IN LITHUANIAN 

PROGRAMME (TBC):
– a workshop of traditional Palestinian embroidery
– screening of Palestinian short films
– Bilad ish-Sham cuisine (so-called „MiddleEastern“ food)
– poetry readings
– presentations (list of speakers TBC)

Registration opens on Wednesday 9pm.

Event organisers maintain the right to not allow unregistered individuals to attend. Those that engage in bullying, provocations, harassment, abuse, violence and other such things, will not be allowed in. Such individuals will be immediately reported to the police.

Racists, antisemites, abusers of all and any sorts are not welcome.
