Lėtas -horizon(s)- kūrybos proceso pristatymas | Slow -horizon(s)- work in progress presentation

Nuo 2015 m. choreografė Indrė Gin tyrinėja virtualią erdvę, kurioje šokama kartu, be būtinybės būti toje pačioje erdvėje fiziškai, taip pat menininkė tyrinėja šokį buityje. 2016 metais Londone ir tuo pat metu Vilniuje Indrė Gin pristatė performansą „horizon“ kurį atliko kartu su seserimi šokėja Ieva Ginkevičiūte. Pandemijos metu 2021 m., prisijungusios šokėjos Ieva Gaurilčikaitė-Sants, Ugnė Raščiūtė, Viltė Švarplytė, Laura Banaitytė, Annu Koetter kartu sukūrė performansą „horizon(s)“ tuo pačiu metu vykusi Lietuvoje, Švedijoje, Vokietijoje. 2023 m. gegužę Indrė Gin ir Ieva Ginkevičiūtė rezidencijos ,,Teater Garasi” Džogdžakartoje (Yogyakarta) (ID) metu tęsė “horizon(s)”, kuriant šokio filmą bendradarbiaujant su video menininku A. Semali (ID).

Renginyje bus pristatyta video medžiaga iš 2015 m., 2021 m. atliktų performansų bei kūrybos procesų, lankytojai bus supažindinti su ,,Teater Garasi” performansų institutu, ten vykusia rezidencija bei jos metu sukurto šokio filmo ištrauka.

-horizon(s)- will connect Yogyakarta and Vilnius through a simultaneous slow performative work in progress presentation.

Since 2015 choreographer Indrė Gin explores the virtual space for dancing together without the need to be in the same place, while also exploring dance in the domestic environment. In 2016, the artist performed “horizon” during a Skype video call with her sister, dancer Ieva Ginkevičiūte. It was presented in London and at the same time in Vilnius. During the pandemic year 2021, Ieva Gaurilčikaitė-Sants, Ugnė Raščiūtė, Viltė Švarplytė, Laura Banaitytė, and Annu Koetter came together to create “horizon(s)”. It unfolded simultaneously across multiple countries – Lithuania, Sweden, and Germany. In May 2023, Indre Gin and Ieva Ginkevičiūte participated in a residency at “Teater Garasi” in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This residency was dedicated to the creative process of video filming, working in collaboration with “Teater Garasi” member visual artist A. Semali.

In this event the artists will present video materials from the performances and creative processes made in 2015, 2021, as well as introduce you to “Teater Garasi” and the residency that took place there, as well we will share an excerpt from the dance film they are making now.
