Artwork from a series of small format collages and collaged notebooks - images and text from old magazines and newspapers stitched onto recycled papers. Artworks are informed by natural structures, holistic ideas, ecology and sustainability.
Liucija Dervinyte is an artist, textile designer, cultural manager and a co-founder of Ideas Block. The artist tells stories through abstract watercolour artworks, collages and everyday objects. Her creations evolve around and reflect on repurposing, sharing and collective creation, as a search for a more sustainable future through ideas and their meanings, materials and their potential to transform.
