I am going to share with you something amazing, something that I fell in love with once I saw it. And that is some impressive contemporary art made by an Irish textile artist Debbie Smyth. She creates intricate 3D drawings using pins and threads. Her artworks join together illustration, drawing, textiles art and embroidery. Something that might usually be a flat drawing becomes a playful and imaginative contemporary 3D art piece.
The artist works with different scales and projects. She creates work for interiors, gallery installations, set design, window displays, graphic design and illustration. To say it in other words, Debbie takes a drawing out of its boundaries and places it in space.
