A few years ago I was very much into paper folding and origami. I have worked on a big scale paper and fabric folding project for fashion… and I know how time consuming it can be. Everything needs to be measured and made exactly perfect. Even though I don’t work much more with paper folding, I still love and appreciate it very much.
You can imagine how happy I was to find a designer creating truly beautiful objects out of paper. A Swedish designer Lisa Marie Andersson creates patterns, folds and assembles origami pieces in her home in Gothenburg. Artist’s brand Up the Wooden Hills originally started as a clothing label, and later was replaced by beautiful paper cranes and origami balls that became high demand items.
